Waste-Derived Biogas Market to hit $217 billion in 2016 says New Forecast

From 2010 to 2016, the market is projected to grow from $124 billion in 2010 to $217 billion in 2016. Currently, the cost of oil has hit highs of over $100 per barrel on the global market, while U.S drivers are paying nearly $4 per gallon of gasoline. Renewable domestic energy supplies are seen as a means of getting past these problems. Biogas, a clean fuel sourced mainly from waste materials, is a significant alternative to conventional fossil energy.
